Title: Wettability and self-cleaning applications of micro/nano-structured surfaces.


Abstract: The self-cleaning effect is a unique ability of some animals and plants in nature. It has been found that the surface micro/nano structures contribute to this effect. How to prepare the micro/nano-structured surfaces with self-cleaning function reliably and controllably has become a research hotspot. Nanosecond laser is the best choice for many preparation methods because it can ablate the surface of materials to prepare micro/nano double scale structures at one time. The speaker carried out research on the preparation and wettability of micro/nano-structured surfaces. Laser ablation was used to build micro/nano structures on the surface of the material, and then nano coating was deposited by PVD method, finally forming a composite surface with good self-cleaning effect. This report mainly covers the influence of laser parameters and structural dimensions on the wettability and related applications of self-cleaning surfaces.
